Weekended
This weekend was pretty decent. Started out after work on Friday where I went into Harvard Sq. to get some new plugs and to meet up with Corinne after work. We wandered for a bit and got some much-needed food.
I took some pictures of Corinne Saturday afternoon for my photo class that started up last Thursday. I’ll post a few later on. I wouldn’t consider myself “good” at taking portraits. It just doesn’t come naturally to me and I have a difficult time color correcting during post processing. I like the way they came out though and it was fun to do. I’ve already thought of a few things that I can do to get better results next time.
On Sunday we went and saw Dolphin’s & Whales 3D at the iMax at the aquarium. It was OK. I’ve definitely seen better stuff there, but like most of these films, I think they’re targeted at a slightly younger audience. Oh, and a quick note, babies probably won’t like the roaring sound that the iMax theater produces. So in case you were thinking, “Hmm… I wonder if my 1.5yo will enjoy a theater that can be as loud as the friggin’ space shuttle lifting off” then wonder no more – for the answer is “No, you fucking idiot, it’s too damned loud and you shouldn’t bring a baby to an iMax theater!”.
Oh, and even if you’re not talking in English, if you’re talking loudly during a film in any language, people can still hear you, it’s still rude and horribly annoying… so shut the fuck up.
That is all.
