I purchased a laptop today… hopefully this experience will go better. I should also be purchasing tickets to Hawaii either Friday night or sometime this weekend hopefully.

In the “shitty customer support” bucket, my credit card people are horrible. Every time I call them I’m told that there’s a world of inconvenience that I have to suffer and that there’s no way it’s going to change. Given that news and attitude, after this next round of large purchases is done, I’m going to cancel the card and look for a new one.

I have no problem telling a vendor that I don’t want their service if they can’t provide a positive customer experience for me. Coming from a support position, these things are important to me and I have certain expectations.

Now if vendors would only start giving a damn about their customers…
