Bombarding the net with slightly greasy solar atoms for almost 10 years…
Here’s my absolute first shot at any astrophotography – some moon shots. Unfortunately, Boston has a ton of light pollution (saying nothing for air pollution), so I’m sure these are far from the best results I could get with a bit of traveling, but the moon was pretty full and the clouds parted for a while.
These were taken with my 70-200 @ 200mm. Next step is to get a teleconverter (probably a 1.4x since it’s something I plan on buying and I don’t know anyone with anyone with any TCs I could borrow), get somewhere with some better clarity and see what I can achieve in terms of sharpness. Definitely fun to play with. Sucks that it’s so damn cold here right now!
