Last Night I Killed Zombies With A Sword
I rarely have dreams that I remember. So when I remember them AND they’re cool (a la, killing zombies), then it’s an added bonus.
Yesterday was fairly uneventful other than seeing Beowulf – which I highly recommend. Friday saw the purchase of new dive gear. BCs to be exact. The only thing that we really need now is a regulator setup and tanks. I’m still a bit undecided about what to get for a reg setup. Need to do some more research into that. Luckily I won’t really need to worry about it much until around April, when the water starts to get back up to a reasonable wetsuit temp. If you’re diving a dry suit, you can basically be in the water year round. I’m not that hardcore by far – I hate the cold way too much. Note: need to move somewhere tropical.
Got some camera gear on the way. Should arrive Monday or Tuesday. Got a tripod, monopod and a new camera backpack. The backpack is exciting because it also has enough room for a laptop, which will certainly be coming with me on any real trips and much of the time to and from work. It can supposedly hold most 17″ widescreens, so we’ll see if my current laptop is small enough. If not, I can just take my work laptop at no real loss.
I have no idea what’s going on today. It’s approaching 10 and the day appears to be wide open. I think Corinne wants to do some cleaning, but I have no clue beyond that. It sucks that I hate the cold so much – it basically keeps me from going outside at all in weather like this.
