So some bozos have been spamming my horribly low-traffic diary comment system with some stupid blog spam.

I find this annoying.

I took a look at the patterns in the spam and wrote a few lines of code to return an error if it’s encountered.

I’ll keep an eye on my database to see if they circumvent it (it probably wouldn’t be difficult, all things considered), but hopefully nobody puts any more effort into this.

I’d rather not have to do any _real_ work to keep idiots from posting comments. We’ll see what happens.
